Kizomba it’s an Angolan type of dance...not music genre...it’s Cabo Zouk or Cabo Love (Coladera/Cabo Verde Show)...Now they even call Capeverdean music Kizomba instead of Cabo Love or Cabo Zouk, because of the dance...Capeverdean music is not Kizomba, it’s Cabo Love/Cabo Zouk. Check and you’ll see that most of the producers and Singers are Capeverdean...You have to understand some nation don’t know the differences, they all now call Cabo Zouk, Kizomba but we don’t mind at all for Angolans are our Brothers and Sisters, and some are Angolan with Capeverdean descendants. We all have been influenced by each other...Zouk artists have been influenced or inspired by Capeverdean music and Capeverdean have been influenced by Zouk...Which is good, it makes life more joyous or the culture would become richer. As you can see now, most of the Antilian and Angolan Artists beat are produced by Capeverdean and most of the collaborations are with Capeverdean Artists. Just trying to clear something up. As You all Know the Capeverdean Afro-Zouk King “Manu Lima” and Djoy Delgado invented Cabo Love/Cabo Zouk and now they call it Kizomba for that’s where the dance idea came from. Remember that Oliver N’Goma, Monique Seka, Pepe Kale music were produced by Capeverdean Afro-Zouk King “Manu Lima” talking about back in the 70’s 80’s & 90’s meaning that Cabo Zouk/Cabo Love or Coladera been around.
