Elk Carcass Trail Camera Footage - Week 1

I found an elk carcass on May 9th, 2023, and I left two trail cameras, one up close on the elk and one from afar. The wildlife I caught includes black bears, bald eagles, pine martens, turkey vultures, and a live roosevelt elk.
Unfortunately, I found the elk carcass a little late. The only animals that wanted it were eagles and vultures. The bears just walked right by! I tried to catch a cougar, but no luck so far. In my defence, black bears have an abundance of food so they can be picky about it. One of the benefits of being on the North Island! They have unlimited seafood like crabs, eels, and shellfish on the shores. Plus, a plethora of vegetation from grasses to dandelions, nuts, plant roots, and insects right now.
