Elk Grove Kids Camp

We are discussing frequently asked questions for the Elk Grove kids camp. Do my kids need to know how to swim before they come to camp?
The answer is no,they do not need to know how to swim before they come to camp. But they are required to do a skills test to demonstrate they know how to enter the water and safely swim to the side and pull themselves out. If they are not able to complete the test confidently, and without assistance, they will be required to wear a life vest. You can choose to bring in a lifevest for them or we do have a supply of life vests if you do not have one from home.
