Some Michigan hunters may be lucky enough to draw an elk tag and fortunate enough to hire a guide which seems to be very costly. I wonder what the success ratio of elk hunters with and without the guide services are?

The elk in Michigan are like cattle, go out west and hunt then you really will get a true elk hunt, if I ever draw a tag here I’m going to donate to someone else, the guides might be good here but they wouldn’t last a day in the mountains, I guarantee it

Going out west is all good for you rich folk but people who can't michigan elk hunts a great opportunity, down playing our michigan elk hunts and our guides that's wrong, I shot a michigan bull elk and had an awesome hunt, keep going out west and let the rest of michigan hunters get there chance here. I sure hope you never get drawn
