Elk Lake Lodge Informed Story

Elk Lake Lodge, a 12,000-acre private forest preserve ringed by the Adirondack High Peaks, offers a true Adirondack wilderness experience that is rare in modern life.The Elk Lake Lodge has been run for generations by the same family, and the land is now protected by a New York State Conservation Easement, assuring its future. In the summer of 2017, Rob Lowe's Informed program recognized the special value that Elk Lake Lodge provides visitors and the environment and captured the back-to-nature essence of this unique location in a short video special, set to air in the spring of 2018.
