Ellarie, with your nails if you're using tips you can paint them first (like as if they're press ons, you can even get a hand mannequin so it's easier) and then to make them stay when you put them on, buff and scratch your real nails up good before applying the glue and the nails, give the glue more a textured surface to hold on to (2 week hold!)
