‘엘라스트’는 ‘에버래스팅(Everlasting)’의 줄임말로, 시간적 영원함을 뜻하는 ‘이터너티(Eternity)’와 공간적 영원함을 뜻하는 ‘인피니티(Infinity)’를 함축적으로 포함한다.
결합, 불멸, 영원이라는 뜻과 함께 시간이나 공간적 제약을 떠나 자신들만의 음악을 통해 영원히 리스너들의 곁에 있겠다는 의미이다.
엘라스트의 로고는 2000년대 생 멤버 4인과 1990년대 생 멤버 4인으로 구성된 것에서 착안, 분리와 결합의 의미를 부여해 제자리표(♮) 음표 모양으로 디자인하였다. 내추럴(Natural)이라는 뜻이 담긴 제자리표는 악보 안에서의 음을 원음(본래의 음)으로 되돌리는 효력을 지니고 있다. 해당 로고는 기본과 완벽이라는 엘라스트의 지향점을 상징한다.
E’LAST, short for everlasting, includes the idea of temporal eternity and infinity or meaning spatial eternity.
Encompassing the meanings of union, immortality, and eternity, E’LAST conveys the intention of the band to remain to be by their listeners’ side forever through their music, regardless of the limitations of time or space.
E’LAST’s logo is inspired by the fact that it consists of four members born in the 1990s and four members born in the 2020s. The number four is combined twice to create the shape of a natural, a musical symbol. The natural symbol has the effect of canceling cancels the effect of a flat or a sharp. The logo symbolizes ELAST’s aim to create of creating a firm baseis whileand reaching for perfection.
