I agree, not surprised though. When he was in JYP he was a trainee for 15 years because he decided to go to America to learn more about music. Sang at open bars, he also joined a chorus, he just surrounded himself in music. You should listen to the american song covers he put out a trainee. He covered Sade smooth operator and that's one of my favorite covers he's ever done
