I knew that my relationship was ending, and I was so in love with my boyfriend, but our relationship was so toxic, we couldn’t stay together. I didn’t want it to end badly. My relationship with my first real love had ended pretty brutally and it’s a scar than never really goes away. I was terrified of going through another bitter breakup.
