Sure! The most simple feng shui concept is to look at your furniture placement. Imagine water flowing into the room. Is there any furniture that creates a large obstruction or disruption to the flow of water? This disrupts the positive flow of energy in your home. Look at how you've placed your sofa in the living room - this is good feng shui as the arm is along the wall, which means that good energy flow is uninterrupted (the other way around creates an obstruction). You don't have to do this for EVERY piece of furniture, but try to keep obstructions to a minimum. Your desk (and Connor's!) is in the right place because when sitting at it, you should be facing the door. (This partly comes from an old belief about someone sneaking up on you while you're occupied with work, but it's also a feng shui concept, as it's believed to promote healthy brain activity and energy for a good working atmosphere. It also distinguishes your position of seniority and ownership of the space. Think about how high-ranking bosses have their desks placed in their offices - always facing the door! ) Your mirror is on a wall which reflects light from the window - this brings the outside into your home. Likewise, your bed placement should never leave your feet pointing at the door - this will cause good energy to flow out of the room.
