I watched her show only once a long time ago and didn't like her at all. And that was "a regular" show (still, there were some strange vibes). I don't understand why people didn't notice that something was wrong with her and tolerated this behaviour - it is simply disgusting! Being Eastern European, I always thought that Americans were more sensitive, and it is the public that shocks me more than Ellen here (as I wrote, I never liked her, so I am not surprised she could do what she did, but the public? She should be booed immediately every time she humiliated anybody).

The craven narcissism demonstrated by this video's creator is the real problem. Relying on some very tired woke style tropes to back up a pathetic argument in order to bolster their own needs and desires. The problems with DeGeneres and her show were with respect to things that happened off camera, behind the scenes, On screen, these celebs loved all the exposure that they could get and many might well have returned again and again. Normal, rational people will know that some of the watch is cringe but so much of it is as funny and amusing as all the other people not mentioned, those in the audiences that flocked each day to her shows and had fun, without needing to micro analyse.

Ellens never been funny in my opinion, her 90s sitcom was like watching paint dry, tear inducing boredom. She only became popular because she played the sympathy card and publicly came out, so everyone was like awwww. How many people do that everyday in the world and dont become mega rich celebrities or add theatrics by doing it in public. She used coming out as an excuse the pun, trump card to manoeuvre herself higher up the celebrity power structure and abused her fame and power for years since. Like a bully, Ellen can say whatever she likes to anyone but prepare to suffer if you answer back coz the backlash from her fans.
