Ellen Wille Jamila Plus Champagne Rooted- A Wig I Wasn't Loving Transformed With A Few Simple Tips!

I wasn't loving this wig when I first took it out of the box. I did a review and thought the curls were gorgeous but didn't like how it didn't look anything like the stock photo with loose curls and lots of volume. I did my first impression review and put it away never wearing it. As I was recently going through wigs I own, I rediscovered Jamila Plus Champagne Rooted and Bernstein Rooted and decided to flip the wig upside down and really pick through the curls with my fingers as well as leave it hanging upside down in my closet for a few days. It totally changed the look of the wig, it relaxed the curls some and now it has lots of volume just like I wanted when I first received it. I was honestly very disappointed when I first purchased the wig, I loved the curls but they are very tightly coiled when you first pull it out of the box and I didn't like the way it looked on me. I put it away and haven't touched it for months but now my love for it is here! Just wanted to share my inspiration of how you can change your mind about a wig you're thinking of giving up on with just a few tips and tricks here in the wig wearing world! I give a shout out to my sister Daily Dazzle and Dawn for giving me inspiration to try new and different ways. She is a real gem and has amazing thoughts and ideas. These tips truly help so many wigs by just leaving them hanging upside down in the closet to give you volume and help separate the curls on a wig otherwise you might give up on.

My real hair is exactly this way the curls and volume but not this colour.. but i chopped it all off because it was damaged. i saw ur sisters vids of it and now this so im confident in the purchase. Thanks

Hooded eyes runs in our family, I have hooded eyes, both my sisters and my mom did and I love my sister's tips on hooded eyes because that's why I, myself have struggled with Eyeshadow. I love eyeshadows but get discouraged when my hooded eyes cover up all the shadow I place so the hooded tips she uses really helps.

Love that wig. I have it in dark chocolate, because I’m a little self conscious of the poufiness I don’t wear it so much,but you’ve inspired me. I’ve not yet washed it and am a little wary about how it will do. You look beautiful in this

Rhonda, I understand about being wary of washing it. I feel the same way and honestly haven't washed any wigs because the Gabor Radiant Beauty I did wash I was very disappointed in how frizzy it turned out. I just use conditioning spray to tame frizz and I hear water works well too.
