Eileen, I'm so happy you reviewed Star. Star doesn't look great on the model photos, but the wig looks fantastic on you. The permatease volume is perfect; not too much. Great review!

Hi Mary! I'm so happy you found my channel; I agree there are many ladies who do wig reviews that I love and watch daily; you absolutely did detect a southern accent, I'm born and raised here in the south! I also wear 12FS8 (but have fallen in love with 12FS12 Malibu Blonde) the rooting is lighter than the 12FS8; I also wear SS Golden Wheat as well as RH1488T8, sounds like we have similar taste. The only Tony Of Beverly shade I've had is rooted gold and strawberry frost, neither is comparable to 12FS8. I would encourage you to contact Andrea at wigstudio1.com, she is amazing and would be happy to help you choose a color that would work for you. I just got Kristen and Ignite in 12FS12, I love both those styles but the rooting was just too stark, now they are perfect!

I love them also, the hair society collection runs smaller than her main line but you are right, they are beautiful wigs; Elite is one of my all time favorites as well as Open, Push Up, etc etc., I can't get enough of EW wigs!

Hi Eileen, I am fairly new to the wig community and to Wig Studio 1 on FB. The community of women of the FB site is incredible! I have learned so much and my confidence is building. I loved your review of Star, it looks beautiful on you. The stock picture does not seem to do it justice. I have a question for you that you might be able to help me with. My head measurements are the same as yours except the circumference, which is 22. Do you think I could still wear Star? Thank you for your opinion and thank you for your reviews, Diana

Hi Diana, welcome to the community, so glad you are here! I'm afraid that Star might be too snug for you as these Ellen Wille wigs are advertised as petite/average sized and the Hair Society line have 100% hand tied caps that don't offer much stretch. You might want to double check with Andrea Carlson at Wigstudio1.com and she might be able to give you a bit more guidance concerning fit but this one fits me snug and I'm afraid it would be too small for you. Thank you for this review Eileen I know this is an older post. But if you still respond to it would be fantastic. I saw this wig when looking at Ellen Wille hand tied. I have a small head and face and am considering Piemonte or devine. Then I saw this review. Does this style have permatease?

Hi Eileen. I hope you still respond to comments after 2+ years!!! I am looking for the very lowest density with the least amount of permatease in the smallest cap sizes! (petite/average might work in EW). It sounds like Star fits the bill pretty well. All of the wigs I've purchased lay about 2-5 inches longer on me proportionately than on all of the models/reviewers depending on the overall wig length. Do you think the shape/flow of Star would be compromised if I needed to trim it about an inch all the way around? Also, are there other EW wigs that are equally or less low dense/permatease?

Hi Elaine; I have a 21 1/4 inch head circumference and Ellen Wille work great for me. I think if you made sure to add some layers you could easily turn this one if needed, its a really nice style! Thanks so much for watching! xoxo

Loved it until l saw the back, it sticks out like a huge bum at the back, why do they do that, natural hair doesn’t.
