Seit genau 20 Jahren nun fordert mich ihre Genialität auf Floors und in Clubs zum richtigen Tanzen und Abgehen auf! Bin riesiger Fan ihrer Machart. Aber dieses krasse Gesamtkunstwerk hier(Mukke, Sound, Freund mit Kleid und sein mit dem Rhythmus verschmolzener Tanzstil, die Klamotten, dem Balkon in Berlin mit Turm, der Ellen die wie ne junge Lady Anfang 30 erscheint...und der Agave/ der Sukkulente im Blumentopf dazu) lässt dieses Set zu einem ihrer Geilsten werden. Gehört zu den Top 3 von allem was ich von ihr gesehen, gehört und manchmal auch miterlebt habe, wie nun auch dieses Set hier, eines dieser seltenen Meisterstücke!

I'll never stop posting this set. Three years almost to the day. This one is very special. Right the thick of covid, this set seemed to capture the whole range of emotions I was going thru at the time. Those years when the world shut down, I honestly can say I was leading a very beautiful life, each day a sorta gift unto itself, as I was still working at the time, and taking the train and bus to and from Reseda, during those days when the TV was telling us to improvise masks cause they didnt have enough for the hospitals. Beauty in the face of fear. Hope ya see it too...

Dat ist ja ein Typ der da Tanzt 🤣 Ellen Allien hat mal zwischen 2001-2003 im Butan/Wuppertal aufgelegt. Sie war für mich ein bisschen zu experimentell mit vielen Breaks im Set. Aber lag auch wohl daran das ich zu der Zeit auf Schranz und straighten Techno unterwegs war. Aber was sie so „besonders“ machte war das sie während des Auflegens runter zum Floor kam und mittanzte und dann wieder rauf zum Pult stieg um weiter aufzulegen. Das hatte ich bis dato bei keinem anderen DJ/DJane gesehen 👍👍👍 Jetzt wo mir Ellen Allien empfohlen wurde fallen mir noch diese Damen von damals ein. Miss Yeti Miss Shiva Miss Djax Gayle San Monika Kruse Nathali de Borah Mal schauen was die heute so treiben. Dieses set ist echt super 💪
