I teach cooking classes to kids and used your almond butter salad dressing for our green salad recipe. I paired it with peas and tropical fruit and some other veg, and they were so excited to make and eat it! These are kids who enjoy the standard kids menu (mac n cheese, chicken tenders), but they were so enthusiastic about grating carrots and chopping lettuce. It just goes to show that with the right presentation, every child will enjoy healthy, whole plant foods!

As a first time mama who is also breastfeeding, I’d love hearing about how you manage to breastfeed for so long. Nothing compares to the bond you have your your baby when breastfeeding and I’d love to breastfeed for over a year but I’ve never had a large supply and it makes me so sad.

I’m also a breastfeeding first time mom and am wondering how you know you have a low supply. It’s a serious question that I see people talking about often online. But breastfeeding is so invisible and unless you weigh your baby before and after each feed, it’s impossible to know how much they are consuming. Unless they are crying at the breast for lack of milk it’s hard to know. I mention this because I had moments of doubt because when I pumped very little came out. But my baby has never cried over hunger and nurses often and has lots of wet and dirty diapers and is growing wonderfully. So from the outside it might appear I have a low supply but I know this isn’t true. Anyway, just wanted to offer a different perspective that might be helpful to you.
@stppnwlfn3 жыл бұрын
Have a consultation with a lactation specialist if possible. Like said before: how do you know you have low supply? The breast adapts to the needs of your child. In quantity and quality. Unless there is a structural problem (like a tongue tie or something) it is unlikely to have a low supply…

Hey Ellen, I love watching your videos. You are an inspiration! I was wondering if you have or are going to make any parenting videos? Some videos that are informative with some tips and tricks that work for you and your family. Also some videos on education for your children. Your children are so intelligent. I'm just wondering if you have any suggestions or tips for early education as well as information on your parenting style. I'm sorry if that may be to personal of me to ask. I understand also that one thing that works for one person may not work for another but I could use some advice. Anything helps if you can. I am a new mom and looking for some advice. My baby is about 14 months now and I'm kinda just learning as I go but it can be a little overwhelming. I wish you and your family the best. Thank you.
