Yes. There are multiple encounters between humans and infected throughout the game and humans always prioritize them over the player as it should be. It creates some interesting scenarios where you can explore this to your advantage like throwing a brick or bottle towards the humans to draw the infected to them.

Yep! Rather annoying when trying to feed people to clickers. Had one guy left and had to lure over the clicker then stun him and personally deliver him into the clickers maw… took me a good minute to manage it without him booking it too soon.

I’ve always thought it was EXTRA sad that these guys are deserters from the WLF and felt even worse for killing them. And here you are, smoke bombing out of there like a champ with zero casualties. The deserters, panicked, pack up and quickly move out of WLF territory. They find a farmstead and set up camp, maybe start a new life. And here you come, leading a fucking horde back to their hideout like the avenging fist of god. Well done you glorious psychopath.

I'm mean it would still be scripted but having workbench A, B, and C have random chance for the scripted event to take place while you are on the work bench. Going back to bench A that you were ambushed on your previous playthrough has you paranoid and cautious and then confused . You move on to bench B or C and get ambushed in an area you thought was previously safe from the last playthrough. Keeping you on your toes.

Fun fact: you can also kill the WLF soldiers by putting a proximity bomb right by the door. Just put the bomb outside the door on the floor, go to the bench and they will come out but they won’t be able to ambush you since right as they exit, the explosion kills them.

And then straightening running back as fast as you can and then lock yourself in a closet or something and then just watching the infected killing the Soldiers

Easiest way to deal with them is before you use that workbench, put the proximity bombs down. Just not too close to each other or you. Soon as you use the workbench, you’ll hear them go off when they try to sneak up on you. Then you can deal with anyone that happens to be left that either bomb didn’t catch. I’ll post a vid and hope it doesn’t get taken down or violates the TOS and/or copyrights.

Does anyone else agree this is a part in the story where Ellie has inevitable blood on her hands bc of killing the wlf soldiers ? I feel like they play a very interesting part in the story , especially them being portrayed younger for some story reason . I also view sephrites as very calming and peaceful, and silent hill in a way. I may be reading too much into it but I would love a spin-off. The fireflies are conversely not as pacifist as they claim to be in a way . Surprisingly their motivations weren't really touched on in this game and ik they're dead and gone but Abby was alot more understanding morally than the actual faction of fireflies.

It was a complete betrayal, and instead of giving us a proper story, like the first one, they gave us a lame drama full of woke messages in every corner. No wonder why most people hated the game. I doubt they will give us Multiplayer. People ended up disliking most of the characters anyway.
