We bought our acreage on our 6 year anniversary as well! It seems like forever ago but it's still the nicest house on that country road! Five bedrooms and five fireplaces, full basement. LOVED IT! Now, all kids are grown and gone (we have 8) all through college and families of their own. So, now, we're looking for land to start our homestead on. Hubby wants a horse again and I want to be able to hang my clothes on the line and place for a larger garden. Land here is hard to find, about $65K an acre! That same road 30 years ago was $38K for 10 acres. Land prices here are going nuts! And trust me, we don't have mountain views here in central Indiana...we have corn...lots of corn and beans! LOL! You guys always make me smile. I'm glad you decided to build new-warranties are a good thing! Hugs to the kids!

Building a house has been important to you for months, and you can finally share it with us.
