i haven't edited 13rw in like three years BUT as soon as i finished season four i knew i had to edit alex and charlie because they're genuinely so cute i cant deal! i could cry they're actually the most adorable couple ever... i love them, i love them, i love them!!! alex deserves so much happiness and charlie is just so perfect for him, i'm crying. and them winning prom king and queen (or king and king) made my heart SO FULL! i can't explain it but ugh i love them.

Charlie is just so HEALTHY for Alex. He makes Alex happy, helps him let go of his self-loathing, and fought for him. Alex deserves someone purely nice and sweet and cute with no baggage or history. Jess, Winston, Zach, none of them would have been as healthy for Alex. I’m sure they would’ve been good relationships, but not as good as Charlie. Charlie was exactly what Alex needed

When I broke up with him, we didn't talk for a year and even when we did start talking again he had changed drastically. So now I lost my best friend of eight years and I'm single :/

Even if in a not at all carefree story like 13RW, they seem to be the image of that pure, intense and "perfect" love that maybe you can only feel when you are very young. Because you know, life is never perfect and true love, even if it exists absolutely, is no exception. Perhaps it is better that this story ends like this, without knowing what will happen to this couple in the future, without affecting this fragile perfect love. 💖 Really good job 😄

Does anyone know how Charlie got involved with the gang and how he knows about Bryce's murder? When I started watching season 4 I was really confused as to how he was apart of the group when I didn't remember that happening in season 3

I don't remember everything but basically he was against what Bryce and Monty did so when the group needed someone to put the tape in Monty's locker and frame him for murder, Charlie did it.

I think he helped them, he was the only one with access to the athletes lockers and if I remember well he stole something or placed something, I'm not sure but it had something to do with the lockers, he volunteered to help the team and that's how he get involved!

Charlie used to look up to Monty, and when he finds out from Bryce what Monty did to Tyler, his attitude towards him changes. They decide to let him help frame Monty since he has so much access to the football teams stuff without being too obvious, like Justin or Zach would be.

I really liked them, but their relationship (as well as all the other gay ones) was so rushed... Winston claimed he knew and loved Monty, went on this crusade for vengeance after "meeting" (having sex) with him *2 times.* He also said he loved Alex and let him get away with murder after "dating" him for only two weeks. Charlie and Alex as well, they got together for two weeks and became madly in love with each other. I'm not even starting on Tony and how he treats (or mistreats) his boyfriend... Honestly, episode 8 was such a waste, they could've used the time to build, at least, a little their relationship. They could've also axed Diego's character, since he served no purpose, as well as Zach's drunk storyline. He spent the whole season being annoying and drunk, no one cared! His alcoholism storyline got forgotten, which it's not surprising, they tried to push a gazillion plots in one single already shortened season. They clearly invested on Chalex being the best couple of the series, even Tyler (Charlie's actor) said so; they could've used that extra screen time.
