Don't even sweat it. My ex-bandmates used to call the stuff I listened to, "The Gay Space Rangers ". We were in a 3pc, that's 2 GitTars, 2 voices, one Cajón (me), and we used to do Tom Petty, Americana type stuff. Doesn't really mesh with my appreciation of Prog Rock and/or Coheed and Cambria. Hence, the derision. I didn't take it seriously, and you shouldn't either, MetalBro. ❤️🐙🥁🤘

@user-ke8gp5lv2s13 күн бұрын
@@MisterInevitable it’s a great song but I don’t know why people think it’s alternative. People think the perfectly placed alarm bells and the way the drums dramatically hits when the chorus starts is ‘alternative’ but it’s just a radio friendly (but unique) song. It’s definitely one of the best songs of all time but Ellie Goulding has so many much better songs, and I prefer Burn and Love Me Like You Do over Lights.

Depending on whether or not the focus of the bad times is in your direction you will see the world differently. Apparently, only when someone thinks their on house is on fire will they notice all-engulfing flames. Your parents must have had it easy to tell you that the humans all got along before you were born. That's unfortunate. Hopefully, you'll not provide yours with the same unrealistic view of reality.

Man I miss my old girlfriend that passed away in 2014. She was so beautiful and such an amazing personality. She was my angel. This song reminds me of her every time. This song always came on when we were on the road and I can remember her lifting up her arms and flashing her hands while shouting lights, lights, lights! She was just so funny. I miss you and I will love you forever

@nylontusk1289Ай бұрын
@Anonymous-s4q It is, I miss her very much. I've moved on now and have a girlfriend that I've been with for 6 years but I suffered from many things constantly, mainly depression and addiction between 2014-2018 after her passing. We both had struggled with addiction and it is what led to her death and instead of it being a wake up call, her passing only enhanced my addiction and depression. I had nights where I would cry so hard that I felt like I was going to implode from the pain of the grief. I was totally lost and had no hope in making it out of my despair. To shorten the story I am now clean and sober and have been for 3 years. My girlfriend now didn't give up on me the first 3 years we got together and can't to this day understand how she stood by me but I guess she knew I could be the man that I am today when I did not. I'm very thankful for her and I'm very thankful for God and what he has done in my life. I will always love her and I try to remember her in every way I can in a healthy manner because she was an amazing person and she left us too early. Thanks for listening, God bless

When I was 10, my family and I lived in an apartment building, and the guy who lived directly above us was an incredible pianist. Every night, at 9:00 pm on the dot, he would start playing this song. I would immediately be calmed and comforted by the beautiful melody. I never met this pianist, nor did I know the name of the song.
