@@gordowg1wg145 this is true. she has been a demon for thousands of years and all she has known is torture. she doesn't understand how feelings work, and how to deal with the bad of those, so she resorts to torture, the only thing she has known for 90% of her life. she's a good person that just doesn't know how to deal with negative feelings and that is completely understandable.

I remember during the first episodes seeing how Lucifer is always tangentially involved in pretty much all these crimes, and how they seem to impact or mirror his personal dilemma, as a bit of 'divine comedy'. This show always had the perfect excuse for why everything seems to happen to Lucifer.

I have the utmost admiration for anyone that can resist binge watching this show! It is so good, and once it came to Netflix, I found it impossible not to binge on several new episodes at sitting. Mind you, I watched it when it came out on FOX, so you had no choice but to wait a week for the next installment for seasons 1-3. The characters go through ups and downs, but they do all grow on you as they evolve....

Dear EllieRose, the reason why he works with her is because she does not have a partner and is not well liked in the squad, the reason for that will become more clear in the rest of season 1. And Maze's real name is Mazikeen and her story will become clearer throughout the series. Especially in the later seasons.

From my understanding Police stations within a city are assigned different jurisdictions which they are responsible for, those jurisdictions are further broken down and assigned to a detective team of anywhere from 2-4 detectives. depending on the size of the city and the area within the jurisdiction they are assigned. in this case Lucifer would be considered her partner with her taking the role of senior or lead detective. Lucifer would be considered a civilian consultant. assigned to Chloe's Team. basically, the TL: DR of it is this she was assigned the case or "caught" the case because it fell within her area of responsibility but there are other detectives in her division responsible for other areas of responsibility within her police departments jurisdiction. and if you want to go all "Hollywood" with it: this show is called Lucifer so of course it would revolve around him, and he is choosing to "revolve" around Chloe :)

Lucifer is one of the best TV series i have watched and i highly recommend it to anyone. Stick with the show as it does get even better over time. Oh yeah have a box of tissues ready for some of the episodes in the later series ( i wont say why). Also your perspective on some of the characters will change over time, you will love them eventually including Dan (Detective Douche).

I dont know if animated series are a thing for you. But there are 2 insanly good short ones i can recommend. The first one is Arcane, a Netflix show with 9 episodes 3 of them build one chapter of the story. The secound one is Vox Machina, a Amazon Prime series which has 12 episodes. Where Arcane is more of a serios emotional story Vox Machina is the sorta light hearted, funny version of the two.

I am new to your channel. so I don't want to spoil Why Lucifer, and Cloie are? But if you don't skip any parts of the whole series you will find out Why, and who got them together. This series is like an onion you keep peeling and peeling and you keep finding another level. Oh If you don't see what's going on.
