@@melvinnimtz4821 why do you say "still" though lol, for me it's great because his instrument choice If you tried to play this at tempo with a slide trombone, you wouldn't come close to matching the nuances and intricacies Elliot gets with the bass trumpet. Especially with the lines that go below the tuning Bb that sits atop the staff. So glad he plays it

@@blindblackpianist This would sound fire on a slide trombone. The trombonist in New Orleans play like this and so does does elliot on slide but yeah he does give a different vibe with the bass trumpet

@@kalebsummers8483 it wouldn't be close to as fluid though, that clarity and butter sound would be hindered by having to tongue every note in the same partial
