You know the place that I live now is the 1st that was "mine". Not under the influence of another. At first, for a brief moment, I was stymied., as I was used to accomodating. After taking a step back I actually knew what "I" wanted. I hope ypu realize how very lucky you are to have a close familiy that loves you unconditionally!!! They are your tribe, thick and thin, all for one, one for all. Never, ever, take that for granted!!!

Will you vlog about your trip? Your garden still looks lovely despite getting ready for winter. I've already clipped back the roses and planted some new shrubberies and getting ready to mulch to keep them warm. We've had some real cold snaps and snow already and expect more 😫 soon. Ugh. It's going to be a long winter.

Loved watching your progress this week because I can relate to much of it, especially the big changes. We recently moved back to Europe after 11 years in the Middle East. We were 4 months in temporary accommodation and now, since 4 weeks in a more permanent place. Could finally unpack. Got a table last week and am so excited that our new sofa comes tomorrow - somewhere to sit at last! Change can be exciting but scary and hard as well. I know nobody here and have to start from scratch again to find my way. Started watching your posts about a year ago, so feel like you are a familiar face that moved with me. Lots of good wishes for your “moving on”.

Hi, Elliot. Onwards and upwards as they say. Your new decor will be great when it’s done and hopefully the new look will be a good start for a brand new chapter in your life. I love the oven with the slide-in door. I saw them on Bake Off but have never seen them here in Canada. You will have to bake something to go with all the coffee from Timmie’s.
