when he says "lately" i hope he means "for the past couple hours". and if he doesn't then i'm even more intimidated by his talent than i already was. and that was, REALLY intimidated.

Actually being Elliott must have been the most bittersweet thing... I wish he made it through his problems.

Being elliott would have probably been fucking terrible. Undeniably talented man, but also a severe addict. What’s bittersweet about that?

@@mossymoose8920 What the hell don't you get, lol. It's bitter that he was an addict and never felt satisfied or happy, but the sweet is that he was incredibly talented and left the world with a lot of timeless music. Maybe google what bittersweet means. You act like his whole life was a mess. The guy had a lot of friends and family, a lot of talents (played every damn instrument on his albums), and a beautiful mind. He lost to depression (supposedly, I don't know if we ever really got an answer on how the knife got in him) but come on. You telling me there was no sweet in there?

In 2017 I found tons of acoustic live Elliott Smith shows on YT. Can't seem to find as many of them now. Does anybody know of some other good channels for this? Thanks.
