I never took risk management seriously until I learned about prop firms. After realizing I needed to adjust my risk in order to be successful in that field I started to see the value in playing the long game and not trying to make to make 50% of my account in one trade😂. Quality content as always Etienne👍. Looking forward to the next one.

I've joined Greg's room in Discord since November 2020. I wish I had met Greg much earlier. It would have saved a lot of painful trading lessons as Greg's approach to risk management is extremely disciplined; EW provides a clear road-map for entry & exits to manage trades. Highly recommend y'all to come and try out the room. See you there !

Excellent interview, have been following Greg in discord and learning elliotwave from him. All I can say is that before I came across Greg's room,I was direction less and relying too much on indicators and breaking even mostly. Even though I have not learned everything about elliot wave yet but with Greg's 1 2 setup alone I have made constant money and my risk to reward have been great. If you are not in his room you will not know what you missing. Give his room a try, use his free trial and see yourself.

Ty for your effort for retail trading community and the interview Etien 👍 I personally studied price action via impulsive corrective behavior and essentially understanding even the basics of elliott wave is helping me understand impulses and corrections in markets much better. Been with Greg for some time now and even though I'm the worst student in the group (partially due to schedule) my application of price action with basic wave cycles had positive impact on performance. I mainly study corrections in elliott wave because essentially I think that's where large players accumulate positions to catch the impulse and where best risk reward can be achieved. Have a great week, love your podcast

i don understand one thing, why there are still traders working at a company firm when they could make the same amount of money if they have the right needed capital? isn’t the purpose of trading to stop working for a company? or they do it just for few years because the company provides to them a good capital to start other than the knowledge?
@ChaiBronz3 жыл бұрын
a lot of people trade better without the added pressure of relying on their profits to pay the bills. this gives a psychological advantage to their trading while providing a steady income to handle day to day expenses.

@@ChaiBronz After years of trading at a company firm and being a senior in that you are supposed to have built a good capital and have not to worry about using the capital reserved for paying your bills. The only reason to become a professional or a consistent profitable trader is to quit your 9 -5 job and spend those hours to build other businesses or other personal passion (or explore new one). The only reason i see to remain in a trading company firm is for example if your business is to build an edge fund in that field otherwise there is still no point to me to do a 9 - 5 job.
@ChaiBronz3 жыл бұрын
@@fightforfreedom21 Well Greg did say he has a strong passion for trading. And for him the "9-5" is really doing what he already does as a trader. I don't want to put any words in his mouth and you raise a good question though, why not check out his Discord room and ask him? : )

There is a famous character, a Google search for "signals walter bulls". He made a fortune for himself back in 2018. Recently, such services have appeared that allow copying the results of professional players. This guy shows how to copy after him automatically using such a service. We must try while the market is on the rise.

Elliot waves are a joke. I don't know any professional trader that uses them. No predictive value at all.
