PA=semiperimeter-SS'=a(1-e), similarly, PB=a(1+e). thus, AS=e(a+x1), AS'=e(a-x1). (we can shift AS and AS' in the right proportion) we can see AS+AS'=2ae=2a'=constant (thus parabola), thus a'=ae (which is also what sir got).

Suppose u have a to make a perfect square of x^2+4x, so basically in this first do check if the coefficient of x^2 is always 1 and then proceed to the second step i.e divide the coefficient of x by 2 in this case we get 4/2 =2 and then do square of the number that u get i.e 2^2 =4 after this just add this to make a perfect square in this case we get (x+2)^2 Thats it simple :)
