Yea I was about to say it's not like he was overlooked or anything before but know that he knows him more he is paying more attention to him and when he sings and when he's on screen. He's always been around too, not like he particularly had less parts (tho it is a 7 member group so naturally sometimes not everything can get a prominent part in a song). But he does show up a lot in this one since it is kind of a more vocal song (and even the rappers did a lot of singing)

Loved this reaction....the lyrics in this song are amazing, they mean so much, we've all experienced some of these sad feelings at some point in our lives, yet they provide uplifting lyrics within the same song, but as you said the music is excellent......BTS is the whole package.

Well it didn't take you long to get on this, the whole song reads like a message of love to ARMY. They are the light to army but army is the light to them as well. It follows the love yourself speak yourself trail. that WOAH~ part is so addicting! BTS always have nice melodies in their songs! and yes the "you're my light, I'm you're light" is like 'we find comfort for each other' and that love goes both ways. Lights is such a feel good song but reading the lyrics made me tear up.

I tend to agree with you about many 'uplifting' songs! HaHaHa!! In general I noticed that many of their Japanese songs tend to be a bit more ethereal or light hearted sounding. But, they can also sound quite 'pretty' and very beautiful at times.

if you really read most of their lyrics, its almost always about army. Magic Shop, Boy with Luv, Home, Lights, Mikrokosmos, etc etc. I think you can see it as "uplifting" but i believe its really just them sharing their feelings towards their fans

Hi Ellis! Loved your reaction by the way! Just have some comments on top of yours.. I feel like this MV is connected to the BTS Universe after Boy with Luv. Like you mentioned the clock that only Jungkook can hear in the end, while in Boy with Luv only Joon can hear it. And the time thingy that previously only Jin can control, now Joon can too. Or something like it. And now we can see how the time flux affects the boys. Btw, Kim Taehyung was so awesome here! Full package, vocals and visuals!
