Finally someone that doesn't side with Rigby in "It's Time" Mordecai never promised to go to the movie with Rigby. He'd already gotten the tickets to another movie for him and Margaret before the episode. Rigby made plans without checking in on the person he made plans with, and then when it didn't go his way, he not only sabotaged Mordecai's plans, but went after his crush. Whether Mordecai chickened out or not, Rigby shattered the bro-code several times this episode with no justification.

And people like to use the excuse that mordecai is a simp, which is a pretty pathetic excuse. Regardless of if mordecai is a simp, he still had plans to do something else, rigby should either just respect that and hang out another day, or even just help mordecai with his troubles. Instead he picked the worst options

@@majesticmo5048 People don't even use the word simp right. Getting nervous around girls like Mordecai does isn't a simp trait at all. Simping is when you view women as an object whose affection can be bought, and just want to use them for your personal pleasure. If you look at that little Finn VS Mordecai Twitter Simp War a while back, Finn absolutely is the bigger simp when using the ACTUAL definition.

He's insecure and that's repeatedly obvious throughout the show, even in situations not involving Margaret. It shows more on the surface around her because Margaret is someone he views more highly and is afraid that she might not like him, so he stumbles over his words and hesitates and he does get frustrated with himself for it. It's not that hard to see.

Idk Rigby was kind of a jerk for asking Margaret out, but that's only cause Mordecai doesn't have the spine to ask her out first or just hang out with his best friend, who obviously got pretty expensive tickets to a premiere movie. Heck, Margaret was clearly more excited for the zombie movie than whatever crap he thought she'd like.

He even pretended he was "getting tongue action" with Margaret, saying "that's just what it'll be like." And mordecai clearly didn't know rigby would actually die. He showed immediate shock.

Rigby legit only did it to make a point and Mordecai was too caught up in his boohoo feels to just admit he was jealous.Then then get rigby killed because of his jealousy. Rigby went mad with power because he was sick of people always beating him at things. And said he would kill Mordecai for it.

It was something to laugh about and admit. Rigby told him the consequences right off the bat if he wasn't willing to admit it; it's Mordecai's stubbornness that made this situation happen. He's so stubborn he had a 4th dimensional being telling him his petty jealousy killed Rigby, he STILL refuses to take accountability for it.
