I think this video is about the most fair I’ve ever seen anyone be to Austin Dillon and his career. Yes he’s definitely lucked into all his wins and been at the right place at the right time, but he still is a decent driver that deserves to be in the cup series shown by his resume in the lower ranks and shown with his 2020 playoff run.

He’ll never be worth a damn A few weeks back Kyle Busch was asked about the fact his presence hasn’t led to improvement by Dillon. Seriously there’s nothing in Dillon that can be improved

I still think Justin Haley is the closest thing we have to a Mickey Mouse. How many times did he win bc the top 2 cars wrecked each other. And let's not forget his cup 'win', where a premature one-to-go and an assist from Zeus gave him the checkered flag. I have nothing against him, but his successes seem to be mostly luck, while the times he actually runs well ending in bad luck.

I think this whole “Mickey Mouse” stuff is unfair. Sports, and all of life, is heavily split of skill and luck. The X Factor is always something to watch out for. The 2018 Daytona 500 was ALSO 17 years to the day of Dale's death. It was also the last Nascar race I've been to in person. Went to Darlington after that, but not for the race because it had been raining and the track worker told everyone that the race had been postponed. Stupidly, it finished that night, so my dad and I were robbed out of the already-bought tickets. Still, that makes it ineligible for my last Nascar race, so to the 2018 Daytona 500 that award goes.
