You didn't really understand this drama well is my take after seeing this video. The summary of the whole drama is pretty short. When female MC is with firefly Mina gets excited, when male MC is with firefly Mina says this shot ruins everything. This is the entire drama. Hypocrisy on mina's side to like when fem mc is involved and dislike when male mc is involved despite the situation being the same. The only different variable is the gender of the character. Why the guy who made video on the drama continuously brings up that mina is into yuri is relevant, because surprisingly there's a uprise on hate towards anything straight and having prominent content creator publicly shame straight moment while being known as the yuri/lesbian aggressive shipper doesn't help. Personally i think mina needs a wake up call to tune down her aggressive yuri push and to not spread the hypocrisy that a character is devalued just because they got involved in a straight situation when her opinion would be completely different if the character got involved into lesbian situation. i'm not on twitter nor do i follow mina or other vtubers. Stumbled on this video cause the drama is hot and is thrown on my recommended page so take my word if you want, that's just my take. I feel like shipping in games is obnoxious not only for gay/lesb situations but overall, but its even more obnoxious when people are being hypocritical and hate on a canon situation because it doesn't fit their narrative like the current drama where mina is butthurt because mihoyo decided to show male mc in the end of firefly's video instead of female mc. We can say at the end of the day whatever this is waste of time and not a big deal and i agree. Who cares literally. Tho there's one small issue here, as i said there's uprise in straight relationships going on. I hope this doesn't become a norm in the future. We are already observing companies hiring people of different color or non-binary genders for diversity over white people and people falling in the gender norm. Soon straight will be bad too?

​@@FantasyBreaker I commented in other video that explained the drama more in this context, and as I say everyone is able to like whatever the f they like, I dont mind when people ship characters (I dont mind yuri or straight, dont like yaoi but I can undestand if others like it unless they try to force me into liking it), I dont care about others likes, the problem is when these shippers start to figth or make fire on a situation they dont like or dont fit their narrative and start to make comments and post only agravating the situation because only make other people see the hipocresy give the fire more fuel to the drama, nowdays the society is already broken with to many initiatives and movements, that even the groups of people that it suposedly represent dislike because these only make them look incredible bad because a loud minority that just f the whole

U can think of it like this, both u and this friend/acquaintance really like this series/story, the plot, backstory and lores, then suddenly this series got popular and this friend/acquaintance of urs started disliking/hating it for no other reasons than it getting popular and all your friend's opinions of said series b4 are all out of the window and when u ask your friend, "why?", he/she give every excuse under the moon other than being honest of him/her not liking the fact that the series got popular. In this case, the series is the character, Firefly and the popularity boom is the last 10 secs of the Firefly trailer where she smiled at the male mc and the most likely reason she posted that bad n dishonest take was cause it wasnt female mc or her headcanon ship. Also, most sane people (& her fans) are calling her out cause they themselves and mina all agree the plot, backstory and character writing were good and well executed but just because of the last 10s of the trailer, she backpedelled and said it ruined the character which is far from it. And this video does a horrible job of explaining it, other than confusing u.

People don’t really care and probably wouldn’t have said anything if she didn’t post a 180 take randomly, she said random nonsense all people did was tell her that it was in fact nonsense, takes two seconds to find posts of her simping over female characters as it’s part of her online presence so acting like people did all this hard investigating is just weird as well, the point is that she simps all day but the moment she sees something straight she says something dumb about it, that’s looks a bit silly to the average person I’d say and yeah most pointless drama on the planet but just because you’re to busy doesn’t mean the internet isn’t going to call her out no matter how small. I think people see it as "Mina is a Yuri "girl love" and got Annoyed at: the "female character" was depicted as a waifu for a "male character" instead of being a waifu for a female character.... and I think people saw that Mina ship people all the time but only Yuri ship.... Basically saying it ok if I ship but not ok when another ship exist.... so it feel like she said it's ok if its "girl on girl" but if its "girl on guy" that bad/vile and I feel people on twitter took it as she got issue/hate for heterosexual couples.... Maybe IDK that how I kind of see it.... also in Kaguya-sama love is war... Kaguya often use "cute" as an insult against Shirogane... The hypocrisy with Mina is if that trailer ended with say Stelle the female MC she would've lost her sh*t with her reaction the same way she did with the Black Swan & Acheron trailer. She wouldn't have even tweeted anything negative at all about the trailer or made that opinion at all if it was Stelle. In fact if it was Stelle instead of Caelus she would definitely said how great that trailer was. So her fanbase called her out on being a hypocrite. It was simply a bad take and was unnecessary. Like if Mina is more of a fan of the female MC that's fine but to make that opinion just cause it was the male MC instead you're just asking people online to make assumptions about being a 'man hater'....which as we know is a touchy subject in today's society.
