To be fair most of us don’t expect them at our level or feel any obligation to send them, but the top guys tend to play each other in matches of at least a few games. (Or it’s common courtesy for them to tell their opponent they can only stick around for 1 or 2). Hikaru probably dwelled a little too long on it tho yeah

@@darkdragon4148 Among OTB players, there is definitely etiquette that you should give the other person a rematch in blitz. It carries over into blitz too (or at least it used to back in the early days of online chess). When you play OTB, you are more aware that there is a human being on the other end. People who have only ever played online don't seem to share this sense.
