Thank you for the book review! Exploration of other planets is interesting but can be a distraction from addressing the destruction and pollution of our planet, it’s water, soil, and air by mega corporations. While we are exploring other potential planets to inhabit, let’s take better care of our planet by holding mega corporations and elites accountable for the destruction and population of this planet.

First of all your content is pretty awesome and I've been watching here on youtube regularly. I've found your channel by pure luck while searching a little bit of context to go through the reading of The Journey to the West (great review). Stayed because of the extensive reading on the Palestine and Israel you made. Second. Your critical view on your recent videos are fundamental to look into this video of Walter Isaacson. You've been disecating propaganda itself so let's list some reasons why someone would right a biography. -Money. Writing about popular figures is a promise of cash. -Ideology. Writing about a figure that you admire or hate to show to the world about what they did. -Personal. This is the place where people write about themselves, their parents or other personal reason. Like you I read the first biography from Musk. Pretty good and the reason it was made was the allure of money. That's literally the job of the author. That's what he does for living. Third. Walter Isaacson write primarily for ideology, but also for money. The thing that made me realize this is the reviewers of his books. One his books is about Kissinger, one of the most heinous warmongers from U.S.. None review that I saw of Kissinger's biography talked about that. It's a completely selective blindness! In very similar way I see zionists trying to argue about that "actually killing kids with bombs are good". People who endorse Isaacson's books tend to shield themselves from a more complex view of things focusing on irrelevant topics. Musk said this in 2020 "We will coup whoever we want! Deal with it." U.S. always backed up the major coups in latin america for the benefit of people like Musk. Writing a biography and not touch this point is similar to write about Alexander the Great and not talking about his conquering of other civilizations. Love your content, please don't see this as a harsh criticism of your work here on youtube. Also... 1) The bottom of the ocean, a desert of salt, ice, or sand are magnitudes more easy to colonize than mars or any other planet. You will never hear billionaires talk about that because it don't make up a good narrative. 2) A good chunk of the professionals working on the chip implants on monkeys are the former students of Miguel Nicolelis. I think it's fascinating what he has to say in all manner of topics, but one thing he said was very very disturbing. In his life long career he chipped many monkeys, never killed any of them. Musk's lab probably killed a dozen in the first year. That's the guy who are going to implant chips on mankind. 3) "Stop the woke mob" and free speech doesn't look like a combination that makes sense. I think bell hooks notion of free speech is far more inspiring. Musk's talk about free speech in reality is just rhetoric. I've been seeing more and more n*z1 things there while many people I started following from the BDS movement lost their accounts. 4) On the topic of AI I completely agree with you and if for a miracle whatever I wrote here resonated with you I encourage you look for an interview from Adam Conover called "A.I. and Stochastic Parrots | FACTUALLY with Emily Bender and Timnit Gebru". They have an amazing collection of articles about the wrong ways AI are being led to.

I think your points are well-taken and I appreciate them! Not harsh at all. For me the most disturbing thing recently was watching Musk as part of the clap brigade at the Netanyahu rally (would be absurd to call it a speech/address). Someone called him “the richest slave in history.” He is a frontman that we are allowed to see. He answers to those we can’t.

Thank you for all your excellent reviews of the books you have read. However, I wished that _this_ review would delve deeper into whether Walter Issacson did a thorough job into discussing and dissecting the inhumanity of Elon Musk: his white supremacist mentality, his ill treatment of workers and employees, his antisemitism and anti Muslim behaviours, his greed, and his antipathy for anyone he considers too stupid or lazy. I am not a fan of Walter Issacson. My impression from his biography of Steve Jobs was that Issacson over idolized Jobs. Jobs was clearly a very flawed individual. But Musk is much worse. My view is that Musk does not deserve a biography. He is a modern Hitler in the industrial and technological sector. So, for Issacson to persuade me to read a biography of Musk, he must provide a very balanced view of Musk: the good and the bad. I would have wished that you clearly told me whether Issacson delved into all these aspects, both positive and negative, rather than what you think. To me, spending all 15 minutes talking about your views and only half a sentence at 11:30 is not adequate to convince me that Issacson did a good enough job of displaying all of Musk. I could care less if he is a tortured soul or not. Every adult has their fair share of problems, yet every adult is accountable to living a life as a humane person

A “modern Hitler” I don’t know what you’re reading but your characterization is way off. This is my second biography of Musk and Isaacson does NOT lionize Musk nor does Ashlee Vance. If I didn’t think Isaacson did a good job I wouldn’t have reviewed the book. As I share in some other videos, I do not do “don’t read” reviews on this channel.

Also the “deserve” a biography is a strange idea…like it’s a prize? Napoleon was a dreadful character in many ways, but thankfully we have biographies so we can learn what made him tick. But he wouldn’t “deserve” one for being a “good human.”

@@StephenHeiner Thanks for your swift replies, Stephen. But as I said, I would have liked for you to tell us what Isacson said was rather than say what you thought the whole 15 minutes except for half a sentence at 11:30 that merely said he did not lionize Musk
