China gives 10000 yuan subsidy on each EV. And another 20000 yuan subsidy for each export order. India cannot give this kind of subsidy.

NS, the abate in china is 1000yuan per EV for domestic market, and it has nothing to do with export, it has to pay full amount from buyer overseas, also all abate in china has stopped in end of 2022, there is no more abate in china any more because market is mature now, by contrast, the en dya has huge abate on almost everything, it also set highest tarrif for all overseas car, the point is it does not have any industry and technology, so high abate never help for en,dya

@@user-es5uo4jp7d electric cars already exists in india. new technology is only maybe about self driving but doubt they'll bring that in india cause most probably it won't work here. most probably Tesla is not gonna manufacture and export. they're only gonna make and sell in india. It's tesla's loss if they don't come into India. not sure why most news channels make it such a massive thing.there are many other companies who are coming and leaving india. don't see that as a big news by media.

Well if I’m doing business I would not go in election time. I would like to establish my business with the new elected . It is very understandable in my opinion why Elon Musk postponed his visit.

No it is not the reason.... whatever is the reason is I don't know about that but what is important to note that India can't compete with Companies like Tesla so it is not a good decision to allow Tesla yes if India wants to achieve good system and want to create a whole system than it should allow Companies from China to develop here those systems because they are the only companies who able to create a full system of electric vehicles. So it is important now to allow them for those benifits. Otherwise Tesla itself only increase their presence in the country and not capable as those Chinese once.

Personally i feel, it is ok if Tesla does not start Manufacturing in India.. Many other EV manufacturing companies are interested in India.. If Tesla doesnt come to India, it is their loss and not ours

The majority of the EVs in India were two and three-wheelers, each at more than 1.1 million vehicles (copied ) so just 100 000 Electric cars in india and all others are tuktuks and bikes
