In the 80s I was a student of Africana Studies. After reading and studying the long history of racism in America I asked myself how did our country ever get the moral courage to fight a war to end slavery? After reading many books on the topic, racism in America, the books really didn't answer my question. So I started reading books during the Civil War period. And I read the US Congressional Record between 1862 to 1866. I was shocked to learn how the democrat party worked to make racism against freed blacks institutionalized. And how the democrat party used their past policies of racism against blacks to position themselves to earn 90% of the black vote today. Needlessly, it still took me 3 years to process this, realize how much I had believed a lie, and become comfortable calling myself and voting Republican.

There were four answers proposed, two Republican answers and two democrat answers. Republican answer 1-total and complete freedom and access to everything in America. Republican option 2 favored by Abe Lincoln-send the negro back to Africa in Liberia because democrats will never allow the negro enjoy his/her freedom in America and use our presence to stir rqcial strife. democrat option 1-exterminate the negro because when a superior and inferior people mix the superior will naturally exterminate the inferior. democrat option 2-let the negro stay but discriminate against the negro because when two men, white and black, stand at the door of opportunity the white must go through that door. At our freedom there were 25 million living in America. Republicans held that European immigration should be paused so freed black could secure a solid footing to transition from "slave to free." democrat held the flood gate of European immigration should be opened after our freedom and from 1865 to 1900 our population grew from 25 million to 100 million and thru mass immigration the democrat party grew to become the dominant political party. And in 2024 what strategy are democrats using to secure their place as the dominant political party...mass immigration.🤔
