Elon Musk joins Donald Trump for Oval Office news conference

Elon Musk has defended the controversial reforms that he is imposing on US government departments.
Answering questions in the Oval Office, Mr Musk denied he was engaged in a "hostile takeover" of government in a non-transparent way.
"I don't know of a case where an organisation has been more transparent," he told reporters.
The comments came as the US president signed an executive order directing the heads of government agencies to coordinate with Mr Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to shrink the federal workforce.
