the main difficulty in reducing space flight cost-per-ton-delivered is the companies expected to reduce it, the lack of fiduciary incentives to do so, and entrenched politicians who expect to be monetarily well compensated for their "efforts". the remaining cost barrier is the inherent recurring costs of the obstructionist Administrational bureaucracy...

Elon Musk wants to buy a Coca-Cola Company, KZbin Company and Facebook Company, which I think it's crazy, have you've noticed the Elon Musk has put on a lot of weight because Elon Musk loves his Coca-Cola and Elon Musk loves drinking it, which on very concerned about his healthy diet which is going to cause health problems. I'm curious to know what kind of food he eats because obviously the food he's eating is doing more harm that I see, if I was his dietitian that I would make sure he eats the right foods and drink the right drinks so Elon Musk can get healthy again and not falling into the trap, Elon Musk needs to be protected because he's very important person that play the very important role that has knowledge for to save Humanity from Social, Economic and Technology from collapsing.

I doubt he would have any difficulty in getting thousands of volunteers, even if it was a confirmed one way trip. People won't be a problem.

I think its do-able... Look at it this way, even with current Starship tech, Elon could start Mar's Freight Inc. and start pre staging supplies in orbit. And keep working on the current problems, like upgrading re entry and entry strategies. Might take a dedecated Mars Cargo lander design. Due to gravity versus atmosphere ratio and desired cargo mass and return to orbit dynamics. And he could build an obiting station for personel, that was basically a Mars base in orbit, that was self sufficient, to put into practice things needed for the colony, and to provide an emergency exit and hospital ship facilities. I dont think landing too many humans at once is s good plan. Better to do an infrastructure build up, and get enough people in orbit to remote control equipment on the surface, and to deal with issues with the workbots. You need to minimize Comm lag, you're not controlling that stuff from Earth. And you need to limit human exposure to the surface and test wee amounts of time at first, with the Rescue mission on standby. This is no place to Buffoon your way in, should be done like Sun Tsu entering enemy territory.. Cautious AF... And on the Colony Architecture, want to mention again starting with a triangle/hexes based tunneling array... Where you have vertical shafts in the pattern, and multiple levels going ever deeper. This would be better than rectangles for psychological effects, not so prison like, more of a creative feel. The way to attract people to Mars, is a better life. Not the same schitt they put up with now. I would also suggest Elon Study common law...and its two precepts. So a society could be Lawyer free... Also that Neura link work on wearable lie detection AI, ie truth from brainwaves to text tech, so that and disputes or potential criminal activity can get sorted out instantly. Translation: eliminate the very potential of corrupt judges... Sure Elon can relate to that. Also suggest plans for decentralized satellite farming communities, that could act as life boats in case of Asteroid strikes etc. maybe connect with tunnels with blast doors and blast cornering. and make them all self sufficient and self governing, as Central Control is invariably dysfunctional. Take a look! Glad Elon is as Crazy as he is... the worst fate is boredom...

Elon is smart and it’s exciting what he is doing but I don’t see how having a self sustaining city on mars makes it a stable. Even if it becomes self sustaining it will still need help from earth from time to time. If something happened here where no ships went to mars ever again and if mars colony experienced a catastrophic failure where they needed supplies that would be it. You cannot just go back to basics on mars. If shit hit the fan here ppl could still survive out in the wild as long as there is food you can get yourself. Can’t do that on mars.

I don't think Elon Musk cares if it's solely earthlings that colonize Mars. I'm figuring it's going to be mostly robots an artificial wounds producing humans. Educating them and then those martians will continue humanities Spark. Some analysts say humans will have to be genetically modified from birth to live in the poisonous environment. It all science fiction until it's not

Musk already has 100’s of EXPERIENCED Starship test pilots!! They’ve been flying on Starship for YEARS now! I wonder who Musk will select for the maiden Mars mission?? Alpha Click recently released a video showing all of these highly experienced Starship test pilots, each with 100’s of hours flying Starship! Have you seen it?? Fascinating!

If you're trying to avoid the FAA, that does not work. The FAA has jurisdiction over international launches by US launch operators.
