Reform UK is a private company limited by guarantee. Donations to political parties are goverened by regulation. Such donations are not allowable as a deductible cost on the giver, and not taxed as income on the recipient party. But if Starmer was daft enough to try, should Musk be daft enough to make a donation, then he would be on thin ice, given that the Labour party is also dependent on donations!

The solution is so simple - we need to cap political donations. Only people who are UK citizens and residents should be able to donate to parties. Companies and non uk citizens should not be allowed to donate. Max donations per person should be capped at something like 5% the average annual wage. Rich people, companies and foreign entities shouldn’t be allowed to meddle in our democracy

Just moved back from the states & I can tell you the same thing is happening with Farage that happened with Trump. We're sleep walking into having Farage as PM. They know who to target with their messaging & they are effective.
