The Head of State of the UK is therefore, essentially self -funded apart from actual state functions and continues to be into the future. Remove the funding via IHT etc and the taxpayer would pick up ALL of the costs. This would also be applicable to a non-monarchy head of state model.

If only it was that simple, farmers are told what to accept for their produce, Tesco contracted dairy farmers have to submit accounts detailing their production cost per litre , then tesco decree how much profit the farmer can have- imagine going to any retailer and demanding to know their profit margin on any line , and then giving them what you feel is sufficient profit, ie naming your price , supermarkets, aided by uk government have way to much dictatory purchasing power

IF......as Labour insist......this will only affect " less than 500 farms," then WHY BOTHER ? How much money do you think will be raised by these "500" farms and how long will it take for the last of those 500 to die so you can collect ?
