I’m not sure how people don’t see a conflict of interest. A man who owns a few of the largest companies in the world is able to openly parse through private financial information of his competitors and consumer base. If Elon was really morally inclined here he would’ve led his post at SpaceX and Tesla for atleast 5 years as good faith to show this isn’t advantageous to him. But now we just have to take his word on this. He’s been too vocal over the last few years about government agencies hindering his companies progress for me to believe this doesn’t benefit him And just a final side note, everytime I share these very rational thoughts people immediately become aggressive and accuse me of being corrupt or stupid.

I am not political. I don't have MAGA in my profile and did not vote. However, my opinions happen to align with conservative thought so to say I'm not ecstatic about the stream of wins from Trump and his secret weapon Elon is an understatement. I was in such a dark place seeing where we were clearly heading about two years into poopy pant's reign I remember thinking, Elon is going to have to save the world. And the ridiculousness of that thought I'll never forget. It was about the time he added his pronouns to his profile (prosecute/Fauci) and the darkness started to slowly lift. I thought I was the only one, definitely in my circles, that could see what was going on. No way in my wildest dreams could I have predicted just how right I was going to be. Elon has literally saved the US and if the people in other censored nations follow his lead, he will save the world. Buying Twitter was the catalyst. We'd be dead right now with Harris completing the takeover if it wasn't for that. I called it at the time as being his greatest achievement when the history books are written. This DOGE thing may end up overshadowing it. I don't care. Godspeed. Gut the whole damn thing. Once all the cockroaches are dead you have to make sure the eggs don't spring up again. Only Elon can do that. Don't get me wrong, Trump is playing as big a part, but he would not succeed without his secret weapon. Take all the time you need Elon. I'm all in on Tesla, but we need Capitalism to flourish for it to be worth anything in the future.

I respect the work you put into your videos. I find it really baffling that all the major crypto KZbinrs are only looking at pure waves and completely ignoring the broader narrative of why BTC is pumping and why the future outlook may not be as optimistic as it seems. It's kind of irresponsible to note the fact that every ETF launch so far has caused a major spike in BTC's spike. Already on shaky ground with historically low volume and near pure whale pumps, we narrowly avoided a simple bear market........ Here's an idea to draw everyone into the 'DOGE' process. Pick a government subsidy that everyone experiences on a daily basis. For example the subsidies paid to big gas/oil companies. Why does the federal government pay subsidies to these companies when they are making huge profits.....Well they have this convoluted process of paying the oil/gas companies which then charge taxes on the gasoline (which is paid by us , the consumer), which help fund federal, state, and local taxes that provide funding to road repair, school expenses etc. Tackling this problem would go a long way to demonstrate the value of DOGE and its effort to reform the relationship between big oil and government.

Rogernomics, is what New Zealand called what heroic Elon is talking of. 1985 we too were drowning in government inefficiency. Governments were charged commercial rent for space they occupied. Turning anything into museum stopped. Modern computer equipment reduced the cost of office work. Free services were costed and charged for. I was paid to reduce one from eighty staff in six floors to twenty on half of one, yet more productive. The rail system was privatised, sold half its assets and more of its staff. Good luck Elon.

The best we can hope for is a surge in growth in America. What you're describing is deflation and that usually doesn't end well, think Great Depression. Unfortunately the damage is done. We could see deflation in a few things, hopefully houses. Those prices are unsustainable. But if I know this team of Elon and Trump they'll focus on growing our way out of this mess with extreme growth. With growth there will be wage increases so people need to focus on providing value wherever they can. If you are an expert at something start making yt videos. It takes time and consistency, but that can be a hobby that turns into extra income that turns into a FT passion. DOGE is brilliant, and it needs to keep going deep into the supply chain, public services, healthcare companies. Even the justice and legal industies need it to focus on legislation that is relevant to supporting constructive healthy lives. Then think of the massive gains which will deliver huge efficiencies in the backwaters of sectors, industries. Organisations will have to focus on efficiency innovation, risk management, like the rest of us in the real world of low margin competitive industries. Hopefully, it is going to make it much tougher for the Investment firms to squeeze big profits from underperforming organisations. I hope the staff are very well supported during these changes.

In addition to "Pin to Drive" and "Pin to Open Glovebox", the Cybertruck should also have an option for "Pin to Open Tonneau Cover" _and_ "Pin to Open Tailgate". There's lots of valuables kept in there for some people and if the wrong person gets access to the bed, that could result in thousands of dollars of losses. Maybe even "Pin to Disable/ Enable" certain features such as Sentry Mode or Driver Settings to prevent passengers from tampering with your settings (or a way to "Save Your Settings" with a button to push to restore them). Google says the only way to really reach out to Tesla with suggestions is to find a social media influencer with many views/ subs and hope the comment catches someone's attention, so here's hoping 🙏

I have to say Farzad that I long as I have listened to your broadcasts, I enjoyed your insight into Tesla. However, in this case you are so far off base as to be willfully ignorant. Why do think it is appropriate to bring in people to make these decisions, such as shutting down USAID without first studying and understanding what the mission and execution of the organization. This would be comparable to a dentist pulling your teeth without an exam until he finally found the tooth that was the real problem. And these decisions are being made by individuals such as Elon and his crew of juveniles who have zero knowledge of, or education in, the field of foreign aid or any of the other departments where they intend to disrupt operations without any concern for the damage that they are doing to programs that have an honorable and needed purpose. You are talking like an Elon Musk sycophant who thinks that Elon can do no wrong, much like the Trump sycophants that think Trump never lies, never abused women, never cheated on his wives, never screwed over business owners who did work for him, never ran a phony university and is not a racist. You seem to think, like many others, that government should be run like any other business and in some respects that is true but in other respects they cannot be run like a business because true business is not a democracy as Elon has so ably demonstrated when he fires employees on a whim because he is having a bad day. Our government, because it is a democracy, is an operation where responsibility is shared and requires give and take in order to get things done. This process quite naturally takes longer to complete as so many participants have to come to an agreement that are acceptable by the majority. That said, I agree that there is probably a good deal of waste in our government programs but you cannot arbitrarily shut down a critical organization such as USAID without doing great harm to the beneficiaries of that program who are primarily the sick and hungry of the world. Without first identifying the true problems before making changes, there will be chaos and people will die from hunger and sickness as a result. We as a people have to proceed with caution or risk doing unrepairable damage to those who least deserve it. It is inhumane to act otherwise.

@@jbents49 like so many people here in these comments, you misunderstand what government agencies are. They are NOT enshrined in the constitution. Most of them exist at the will of the leader of the executive branch. They are funded by Congress, but created by an act of the president. He has control over them. Their functions are literally discretionary spending. They don’t need to exist. Whatever need they were supposedly filling needs to be tackled by an act of Congress or by individual states, not by the executive branch. The current state of affairs is too easily corrupted by entrenched, unelected, politically biased, imperfect people. The corruption in USAID is just the tip of the iceberg.

Farzad, thanks for all your videos, insights, opinions, conversations etc. I'm only commenting here because I know you (and other Tesla Tubers)are smart enough to know this, but have not heard you address this, so here goes. Hope you respond. 1. Your analysis and argument is fully based on "the ends justify the means". We can all agree that the gov is inefficient, waste money, and we all want it fixed, to work better, etc. The fork in the road is how this is accomplished. Much of what Musk and Trump are doing is not constitutional. it is not legal. That is the problem. There are laws in place to protect certain federal workers, procedures, timelines, etc. They bulldozed those. Shutting down agencies created and funded by Congress, is not legal or constitutional. Again, I think all of these details are obvious, but for some reason, you and many other Elon fans are not addressing this. 2. When you do address this, you must also address if it will be okfor some other politician to come into power, and proceed to break federal and constitutional law to do things, that many of us disagree with. Example, gutting the FDA and closing it down. Gutting the EPA and closing it down, because they think food safety is not necessary and that pollution is a hoax. So be very careful about praising the process that is currently occurring. This is not how a democracy runs. Maybe we pay for efficiency with safe guards, but I think long view, you want the safe guards, because the next politician and unelected, unconfirmed, unvetted person that comes along, may come after Gov programs (the congress ALREADY approved and funded) that you think are valuable and needed. Transparency is great, efficiency is great, but trading rule of law for dictatorial powers is a very slippery slope. China can build an entire renewable infrastructure 10 times faster than the US, because they dictate it from the top down with no dissent. VERY EFFICIENT. Are you willing to trade up to China type Rule. Love to see how you square this with your comments.

Government is not a business. A business can be operated in any fashion that its owners choose. Therefore a business is by definition a dictatorship and that clearly describes how Elon operates his businesses and very successfully I might add. But our government is NOT a dictatorship and we have a well crafted set of rules we operate by, eg the Constitution that categorically excludes dictatorship. Unfortunately Elon's dictatorial operating methods are incompatible with our users manual. Everyone would love absolute efficiency and no waste in our government but the reality is bureaucracies formed by majority rule are rarely efficient. Efforts to create more efficiency are an excellent endeavor but these efforts must be pursued within the constraints imposed by our Constitution. If those constraints are too restrictive, then we should rewrite the Constitution to reflect how we want the government to operate.

What is true though? There’s very little nuance or insight on the USAID spending. Elon makes a list and acts like it’s all bad and we’re supposed to just fall in line? Seems like we need more scrutiny on Elon’s claims and concerns. For example, spending money on condoms is all about fighting AIDS. Seems pretty important. And yet, Trump talks about it like it’s insane with zero understanding of what the intention is. Anyone can pick random things that money is spent on, provide zero context and make it seem stupid.
