I just finished my first mix media project. I decorated a sketch book cover as a gift. if it wasn't for your videos I wouldn't even know what mixed media was. I absolutely love your work, you make it look so easy. If I do something it takes me forever to get to a point that I think it looks OK, but never really satisfied with the end result. I adore all the cardboard cut outs you use, unfortunately I can't get them here in South Africa - or I don't know where to look for it, and the spray able shimmer paints you use. I love all of your work.

I know you have to promote certain products but would acrylic inks work on this project? I do like the Shimmerz but am more of a solid color paint aficionado.

I looked on the website to order some of the products you use, but I found it very confusing. I use most of the techniques shown here with different paints and varnish or stain, along with sheet rock mud, etc. I will say that the supplies make it a lot quicker. The sprays I am interested in. Can you tell me how to order then and how much they are?

What glue do you use to adhere the metal key? I watched twice but did not see that part. Thank you. I am having trouble finding sometihing that works with gluing metal to the canvas.

After a project like this is complete, do you seal the project with a spray sealant/varnish or anything similar to protect the paint, and help the bonds of all the pieces that where glued on?

This is a beautiful piece Gabi! It is as if one's spirit is drawn into the act of creation as it unfolds before one's eyes. Clearly your unique style. I also noticed that your hands never seem to be sticky, and you never leave fingerprints or stains on your work - because you constantly wipe your hands during the process.
