I was so hyped about Eloquent Eulogy when that revealed, even more great stuff in Mistrial that is coming our way seeing that I consider myself a Ninja main...though I have fallen in love with Vynnset for CC. Thanks for the info and the tech, can't wait to get my hands on a couple of these cards!

It's honestly such a great card! I'm just sad we can't pummel it, as I've had great results at locals with pummel recently. Free eloquence makes read the runes so much better, blocking out, 1 card 4 with eloquence for next turn, Read into wails etc, lots and lots of lines not including the pure chaos shinanigans with funeral moon, I'm genuinely so excited for it. Edit: The above is what you mentioned with read the runes already aha XD

Agreed! You can definitely bamboozle people with pummel, and you can still find room in the deck for a copy or two. This will make the deck so much more consistent though which is awesome

Because funeral moon is an Instant and you don't need an action point to play an instant you get the extra action points to spend on other cards? is that Correct?

Correct, as long as you give it go again with eloquence and meet the condition to play it at instant speed.

Thanks for your view on the card. I also thought that it looks pretty strong. Something unrelated, is anybody else having trouble playing Vynnset on Talishar? I've been running into a bug where my attack actions double everytime I play them.

I really like Vynset and am completely new to the game. I really like the deck and cards and everything but every deck tech I watch, everyone talks about how good she is but then every game I watch she loses :( what’s the deal? Is it that other heroes are super busted?

She still has some bad matchups, but she’s in a pretty good place right now. I think the current meta will take some time to settle, but she feels good into a decent spread of popular heroes. One issue is that Vynnset is not the easiest hero to pilot well. Intuitive enough to start, but the lines (especially with creepers) can get pretty complex. Lots of decision points that can make a difference. Stick with it though. Having fun / enjoying playing the hero is very important. The skill will come with reps. I have thousands of games on the deck and am still figuring things out.

That last combo line does require you to take damage from one of your shadow NAAs as you need to take damage during the turn for wail to make 2 runechants. Overall very cool combos, but is it time for requiem of the damned to shine next to the funeral moon? Loving the content ^^

Did you try a version with tome of fyendal in it and maybe requiem ? With the new card, it could be a really good extender and give you back some life point as well 🙂

do you think we can play tome of fyendal now with more access to eloquence tokens? and i was thinking if we can put in requiem of the dammed instead yellow maurion, as an instant speed AP generator if u have an eloquence and it set up another eloquence for later. (and a block 3)

Yup, worth a test for sure. Both those cards become a lot better with the new card. Not sure about tome, but worth a try for sure.

Very excited for this card. Just a quick correction. In the first example you said deathly wail check lost life per turn but it only checks the combat chain so max you could get is 1 runechant in that example. Love the content ! Didn’t know about the funeral moon interaction in the second example

Yeah, keep an eye on that. Doesn’t matter how many time you close the chain, it’s life lost during your turn

I thought the combat chain closes only when you play a non attack actions with your go again? But if you have no go again but action points, does that mean after an attack combat chain just closes? And if the attack has go again it's still open? Just need some clarification lol

It doesn’t close automatically no. You can choose to close the combat chain after your attack. You don’t need to if you have go again and want to attack again, but you can chose to. If you want to play a NAA then you have to close the chain first.
