I love all the colors, such a fun outfit for a very spastic character!!! Its like they went all out with adding flair, all the way from her socks to backpack, but didnt completely follow up on it , if they would of put just a little more time into the details, she could of been a stellar figure!

Absolutely. This figure really captures Nadeshiko’s super precious personality and that’s what I may love most. It’s not as if the figure isn’t stellar already. I think this is one of the nicer figures I own but I feel like a better price would be around $130.

Good review. I orderd it yesterday and if I saw this review before, I wouldn't have lol...I was thinking of this figure or the upcoming kimono one. I'll probably end up getting both cuz, she's too kawaii

For the right price I’d say go for it. I just think Phat company outpriced themselves despite this being one of the nicer Nadeshiko scales.

Thanks for the detailed review of this figure! I’m slightly on the fence about this figure, and like you it’s the small things like the details on the blanket and shoes, the mold lines and yes the scarf.. i feel like being a 1/7 and at that price point it should breath more life to the scarf and blanket. But this figure really do embodies Nadeshiko well which is why it’s still hard for me to flat out say no to it 😩

I feel the same way. My adoration of Nadeshiko made it easy for me to overlook details that would otherwise irritate me with other figures. For the cost, I really don’t trust Phat! to follow through on my expectations and Hokusai will be the last chance I give them. But the little mushed details of certain accents like the clothing wrinkles and the lack of shading in those spots as well are really big problems for her price point. At this size there’s no reason not to get into those spots and do a better job.

Nice video. It's probably for the best that I don't have the space or money for things like this because I love this show and would probably go broke on its merchandise. Also, I bet a ring of tissue paper around the inside of the lantern "glass" would make the LED look a lot better. I mean like gift wrapping tissue paper, not kleenex.

I haven't ever seen a figure review on yt as detailed as yours. Most here just seem to gloss over practically everything with no attention to detail. For the given price of about 17000Y I can see there is lots to desire, luckily I got mine for 11800Y shipped at a bargain sale. Now I have to ask, how do you feel about WINGs Nadeshiko so far compared to PHATs?

Ah- thank you so much! Your comment legitimately made my day. Ahhh! 🥰 At the right price I’d say this is the best Nadeshiko to get. I like the WING figure, it seems promising for sure but it isn’t taking the crown from this one. The outfit just isn’t as cute. Something about this getup is too precious to deny. Maybe it’s the stockings and shorts combo (personal fav) or the BIG backpack- but it seems more appropriate to me. The WING figure looks to have nicer hair and a nicer face if it turns out as nice as the prototype but that huge bar holding her leg up just damages my soul.
