COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Scalp acupuncture is one of the microsystem acupuncture techniques that combine Chinese needling protocols with Western medical knowledge of the cerebral cortex. This technique is known to be an effective treatment for acute and chronic diseases of neurological conditions. Just like acupuncture on the body, the stimulation of scalp acupuncture also produces immediate improvement and results on patients.
Dr. Liangxi Zheng’s specialty focus is in scalp acupuncture, which is used for treating stroke, pain, neurological conditions, and trauma. In Part I of a two-part series, Dr. Zheng shares how to treat conditions using only the scalp. Learn how to map out the body on the scalp and needling protocols when using scalp acupuncture. This course continues with Part II, which is highly recommended for an optimal learning experience.
