A lot of their current roster came through PWG. Many have returned when they discovered that they loved the business more than the wanted to work in wwe/ A good independent wrestler makes good money. I'm really glad that they ended this match by pinfall and not by that disgusting WWE "escape the cage" rule. The whole point of a cage match is to keep the two fighters inside the ring so neither of them can run away. So the only way to win the match is by pinfall, submission... or running away.

It's not like it wasn't still an option, one of them could've still won by escape. Plus, IMO as long as it's done right, like where it looks like they fighting for their lives trying to escape using their last bit of energy to finally scale that cage and get over to the other side and really build it up, it still can be really awesome. It's just a lot of wrestlers/bookers don't know how to do it properly. The only thing I personally hate..is when they just open up the cage door and walk/crawl/jump out to win. It's supposed to be true struggle and require a ton effort to escape, and not just going near it and have a ref hold it open for you. Now that I hate and I think is dumb. It just kills the energy and ruins it for me.

I don’t mind the escape rule because it can create more tension, like trying to rush to the outside before your opponent gets up, or doing theatrical escape attempts. It can hinder a match like that awful fucking Owen vs Bret match so many people love for some reason, WATCH THE DAMN THING! All they do are escape attempts! But that out of the way I don’t mind when they do the old school cage match.

I really like the camera work and presentation of Lucha Underground. A lot of the luchadores are incredible athletes as well. That said, I wish they'd drop the soap opera aspects of the show. That's the only knock I have, honestly. I have not watched wrestling regularly for many years, but I find myself watching an awful lot of Lucha Underground matches on youtube (I don't have the El Rey channel).

The only time Morrison as WWE champion was even considered plausible was in 2010-2011. Wrestlemania 27 should have been Miz vs Morrison (using Morrison's title shot from TLC) but because we HAD to get Cena v Rock teased at the event instead and not Cena vs Rock proper, they threw away Miz v Morrison on RAW with Miz having to win, and Morrison ended up in that match with Trish Stratus where Trish buried him for wanting to give more spots in the match to Melina. After that Morrison went from plausible world champion to jobber in 4 weeks. Blame how the WWE loves to book Wrestlemania as a bunch of celebs and part timers coming in to ruin everything so the casual audience tunes in.

katamari damacy I was with you all the way up to the Trish stuff. Melina wanted to be in that match and John was pissed at Trish so he acted very unprofessional towards her by not listening to any suggestions for them to do for the match. and so. He got put in the dog house before being let go from the company. Its not Trish's fault WWE decided to randomly turn Melina heel and do little to nothing with that or is it her fault that WWE would rather bring in celebrities and legends rather then utilizing the current talent they had at the time. She simply accepted the offer like any of us would in her position.
