Why does that wig look better than the official Disneyland wig
@starfire94945 жыл бұрын
As a former cast member who used to work at the Disney parks, I definitely agree with you! 🤣 It does take ages to get ready though, so the lace wig would take more time to put on/take off. We take our wigs off backstage cause it's not comfy keeping it on the whole day, hehe.

Ahhh thank you for sharing your wizardry with us again! If I may suggest a video idea, could you do a walkthrough of your cosplays throughout the years, with an emphasize on your early years in cosplay? I know you occasionally share old photos on Instagram, but it would be such a treat to see an in depth video on how your cosplay journey kicked off, how you evolved your techniques (in make up, costumes, wig making) as well as techniques you may have discontinued using. It would be also super fun to see the cosplays you were really proud of at the time, as well as ones that didn't turn out so well. You've mentioned a couple times that you've been adding to your Jack Sparrow cosplay for 10 years, so it would be super cool to see a yearly evolution of it, if you have those photos available! I think a video like this would not only be really fun and interesting to watch, but it would also be super inspiring to see how your skills evolved over the years to become the incredible cosplayer you are today. We all start somewhere! :D

I've seen your work online before, but I'm so thrilled to discover you do KZbin tutorials! I love that you're not afraid to show yourself looking a bit silly- tying the sideburns under your chin cracked me up, but it's a great tip! Looking silly is a big part of the process that not many people see or are willing to put out there.

I don't think I would have much of a video since all I did for my Hela wig was cut chunks of hair out and layer it to make it stringy and messy looking. Then added some gel to make it look greasy 😂

Thank you so much for sharing this! How you cut your bangs proved immensely helpful for a wig I'm working on. I had already cut my wig's bangs (long, thankfully) and wasn't very satisfied with the ends and knew they would need work. Then you release your video, and shortly after, I try your cutting method and the bangs look so much better now 💖 even with my lack of practice in wig-styling. Thanks for sharing with us your tips and tricks on how you make your cosplays! Your work is simply incredible.

Absolutely gorgeous! 😍 I hate when people end up making her look like she's got a mullet! Lol. Your version is even better, and more screen acurate, than even some of the Elsa's that you can find in the official Disney Parks! I kid you not! Your talent is off the charts! I'd love to see you create more of Disney's beautifully strong female characters! 💗 I do have a couple questions, if you don't mind, about the Got2b Glued products... I've never used them before, but I've seen them pop up a few times on KZbin. Have you ever used them on your natural hair? And if so, does it create an unusual texture or sheen to the hair's appearance in person? Like, you know how when someone uses way too much product and their hair looks kinda (for lack of a better word) crunchy. Because I've heard that Got2b Glued is exactly like it sounds, it glues your hairstyle in place. Like, you could stand outside in a hurricane and your hair won't budge kind of hold. But does it create an overly applied product type of look to the hair? And then once the day is over, how hard is it to actually get it out? Like, do you have to wash your hair more than once or use any kind of special product to strip it from your hair? I'm into vintage styles, and I would love to give the Got2b Glued Hairspray a try for some of my 40's looks. But, to be honest, I'm kind of scared and it's a little pricey. 😥 I like the idea of the extremely strong hold, but I don't want to compromise the fluffiness of the pincurls. I'd choose fluffy over crunchy any day. Lol. 😄

@Evoblack15 жыл бұрын
In hot gluing the underside of the braid, how did go about it? Did you spread the hot glue out? I know that hot glue is pretty stringy and stretchy.

Alyson! I have a question: in the wig description from the Amazon link, there are two options of wigs. Which one did you buy? Bc I got the first one (the one that doesn't say Daenerys Targaryen) and is was darker than the one you use, so I guess I bought wrongly :(
