This is why i still believe that Ciel is more of a main character than Lu. He narrates the backstory in the game and then company centers pretty centers around him and his life. DL and DD have better skills than NB and the last job class even went to him on the 2nd part of the Job change. I feel like he has more significance than Lu does. I think shes cool but serves as eye candy for the character over all. Just saying. Im aware that Ciel was just thrown in but hes better at playing Protagonist than Lu. I mean theres so much effort put into his story. People tend to over look it and just take him as an accessory for Lu to wear.

i feel the same but at the same time i am seeing a spike of people only ever using ciel....i am one of them, as in the only time lu comes out is when she has enough mana for a ciel skill

Lu and Ciel complete each other's life. It's important to be formed by oneselves past as to live a human life, but it's even much more important to learn to how to begin a new life as to live a Undead Life, and that's why both of them are important.
