Quite interesting…we’ll have to talk about this topic in our next lesson! I read the physical trumpet pyramid, the one range book, thought I did everything needed to get the muscular based embouchure…but I always get that lump on my lip…hope we find a way to correct that. Thank you for this video. Take care.

Maybe your lump is not inflammation? With the kind of hours you are investing into the trumpet, I assumed the marks on your lips were calluses. A lot of trumpet players get calluses on their lips just from playing a lot. I think I stopped getting calluses when I switch from a dry embouchure to a wet one. But the point is that it's not the same kind of bump that I'm talking about in this video. But yes, we can take a look in the next lesson just to be sure.
