Absolutely must agree, I still have that one on vinyl plus a bunch of others. Yellow Brick Road, of course, a Single man. Madman across the water, definitely one of my favourites of his. I loved the album cover too with the artwork all created from blue denim with denim embroidery. Got a bunch of bootleg and compilation or "best of" type albums too.😊

My aunt has been a life-long admirer of Elton's music and when she learned that he was homosexual, she didn't approve of that lifestyle but continued to listen to his music. Nobody can deny Elton's talent. He can play the heck out of a piano and has written some great music in his career. I agree, I don't understand what a person sees in the same sex and how they can be attracted to that sexually but in a free country, they have the right to do so. I personally don't find other men attractive in that sense but I would never be ugly or rude to someone who does. At one of my previous jobs, I worked with a man who was homosexual. I didn't know it at first but as time went on, it became apparent. Regardless, he never offended or solicited me and was always respectful and when I got married to my wife at the time, we asked him to attend and he came. Upon the birth of my son, he gave us gifts and invited us to a 4th of July party in which we went and everyone was very kind. My wife and I met his partner and although we didn't understand it really we accepted that he seemed happy and let it go. Life is a hard thing to figure but we have to treat everyone kind and try to get along. Like I say, Elton's talent goes without saying and if he's happy then hey......more power to him I guess.
