Elton John's song ‘I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues’ addresses the longing and pain of separation from a loved one, but also conveys hope and the importance of memories. The ‘blues’ symbolise the deep feelings of love and longing.

Oh well. It was too good to last. The cabal returns. In order to introduce some balance, I thought this version was okay but, for me, does not compare with the original version. I would say that Ms Sherlock has a fairly unique voice but it remains to be seen whether she wants to develop her career away from the streets and whether, if she does, it becomes successful. However, it will take genuine widespread admiration outside the cabal for that to happen.
