Eh adam, yeno your cage theory? When my eldest was 6 she had bad attitude and kicking off major, so I told her to go in the garden and calm the fa-hook down, and when she was ready she could come back in the house so I sat in the kitchen and watched her through the unlocked door kicking it and yelling let me in, it could of just opened if she had done the handle, but eventually after a while she decided she was locked out forever, so I seen her face leave the window in the door all sad, and whilst under her breath she started saying…”I’m sorry mummy, I’m just gonna go and sit where I belong cos I’m naughty and I don’t deserve to be inside, so If you forgive me and want me back I’ll just be here..” she only went and put herself in the dog cage outside and the neighbours burst out laughing and although it was funny as, she also made me feel dead bad for her. So went outside told her not to be silly bla bla and then as we turned to walk back inside, she looked up at. My neighbour (our living rooms where on the first floor it was a townhouse, with balcony and patio doors overlooking the garden etc) she looked up at my neighbour with the most sly smirk ever, she knew she’d just guilt tripped and manipulated my heart strings and played me proper hahaha what a kid, so yeah I unexpectedly trialled the cage thing, and it doesn’t work lad 🤣🤣🤣
