The horn breaks the bass line, incredibly the drums. Elton and Bernie are just so amazing!

Man this stuff was well-written. Elton's songs in general. Flaming, flamboyant, weird and wiley. But smart and sharp as a tack. In short, FABULOUS.

agreed they're the only Songs I know I rush to open the door and let in from time to time, most others need checking, vetting, embellishing and asking to remove their shoes.

This NEVER gets old! Some of the best rag-time piano in rock ever recorded. Definitely my favorite EJ track.

Sir Elton never has a bad moment. If not for him, I'd never have written music. I'm not the only one, for certain...

My best friend Daniel aka Duke passed away at age 35. Whenever I listen to this song i think about him. I miss him so very much. He has been gone for 15 years and still think of him everyday.

He was such a style icon...amazing, really. I just watched “Party Monster”. Elton was the Grandpa of that whole movement. Flash forward....Lady GaGa. (Made my point, dropped the mike.)

Benny and the Jets and its canned applause was the most obvious, but it is wild to hear the actual mix vs. what we heard through the AM radio. And the shitty speakers. The blend is absent. The smoosh of the sounds. It's like the Twain ride of the 90's. Dunk dunk dunk. If only I'd known earlier how easy it was. Alice Cooper is Cabaret Vaudeville while we're at it (and don't get me started on Meatloaf).

Yes, yes, yes!!! Elton has crazy outfits, but he was the original, and can sing like a god!!! LADY Gaga? Not so much with the singing, but the outfits? Yes, i guess.

@twiggypeerzingz that comment just made my head explode. i think it would be far more accurate to say that lady gaga is a total rip-off artist who has modeled herself after the best and still managed to come out the worst.
